Bought this to replace my old Apple charger which finally gave up the ghost after years of good service. Looked good when I plugged it in, but here I am just over a month later and it has died. Had a trip to the Apple Store on Friday and paid out for an official Apple product with a 12 month guarantee. Expensive but at least it works

Having been lucky enough to have worked for the music press and at Tony Wilson's In The City industry conference from the mid eighties to the books endpoint in 2005, I got to know many of the key players mentioned in this excellent book, which does a great job of chronicling what were often the maddest of times. Sadly the book, like the scene it focuses on, tends to loose focus towards the end, and offers few crumbs of comfort for the future of the independent music sector.

This is a classic slice of Italian 70s Progressive Rock which deserves to be better known, especially as unlike PFM and some of the other more well-known names from this scene, it doesn't sound like a derivative mix of Genesis, Yes and ELP. Although the sound quality is fine the download has sadly been totally screwed up by Sony Music Italy when it was digitised. The first track "Il Silenzio Del Rumore" has been edited down in length and had "31 Dicembre 1999 - Ore 9" tagged on the end of it, while track 3 on the album "Areknames" should be 3mins 44secs long it has been replaced by the 22 seconds that was chopped off the endof "Il Silenzio Del Rumore"!
