Health Through Yoga: Simple routines, inspiring re&hellip by Mira Mehta

I slipped a disc in my back through Ashtanga yoga and wanted to avoid surgery at all costs. Much as I enjoyed Ashtanga yoga classes, it's easy to get injured and doesn't help your recovery if you have an injury. I had some osteopathy which helped somewhat and had 3 months of physiotherapy, but I was still getting sciatic pains down my left leg, my left foot was numb and I had difficultly walking. Thailand (Globetrotter Dive Guide) by Paul Lees
5.0 out of 5 stars Very helpful, 28 May 2011
I bought this when I was learning to dive in Ko Samui and found it helpful and informative. I visited 8 of the locations listed in the guide. I honestly don't understand the objections of the other reviewer.
Designing for the Social Web (Voices That Matter) by Joshua Porter

5.0 out of 5 stars Invaluable, 27 May 2008
I attended Joshua Porter excellent panel session, 'Social Design Strategies', at SXSW 2008 and was keen to read his book. The book does not disappoint. The title is misleading it's about more than just social networking; and this is a good thing. For example, there's some excellent stuff on how to design a good sign-up process and how to respond to customers on service failures. Joshua details a hierachy covering different levels of customer engagement and how to move them up the value chain. All in all brilliant.
