Exasperating. Neither one thing or the other to be honest. The premise of modern soldiers catapulted into Roman Britannia could have been really good both from a historical and fantasy - fictional viewpoint. But it didn't deliver. Added to that the rather curious prose style and the incredibly irtitating jumps away from the action, at one point it felt like I was watching Alex Cox's film 'Walker'.
I appreciate what the author was trying to do, but he just didn't manage to pull it off...
A missed opportunity.

An incredibly good book, based on real events. If you ever wondered how people could allow themIselves to become involved in the mass killings perpetrated by the SS-Einsatzgruppen in the occupied territories during WW2, this is the book for you.
It also explains or clarifies that although following orders is no excuse, it was perhaps understandable when taken in context of those times. We begin to see that the executioners were just as much victims as those they were killing.

Adequate for the price. Does a very good job of protecting the tablet, but adds a ton of weight which is very noticable after using it hand held for a while. If using while plugged into a charger, cable must be disconnected if opening or closing the cover, but that's more the fault with the tablet design. Also, the cover obscures the micro-SD card port.
Construction and quality of materials are first-rate though, so if these minor issues are acceptable, this is a very good cover.
I have now replaced this with a clip-in design similar to the OEM version now that they have become more affordable.
