His End Game (MMG Series Book 1) by R B Hilliard
5.0 out of 5 stars Their end game, 4 Sep 2014
Definitely a 5 star worthy.
R.B. manages to include everything in this book: mystery, romance, hot sex and plenty of sexy brooding alphas. I loved Max, and considering the storyline (hot guy disappears for a long, comes back for the second chance at first love) I actually enjoyed Ellie's character, which I find is getting rarer and rarer these days.
However, I did feel that when Max and Ellie's first got together it kinda happened quickly, and again the second time, but it's easily overlooked.
The pace of the story is quick and continuous, but not overwhelming. Thoroughly enjoyed this and look forward to MMG #2.

Highly recommended.
One Night: Promised (One Night Trilogy 1) by Jodi Ellen Malpas
2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, 14 Aug 2014
Hate to say it, but I'm quite disappointed in this book. Not even sure it was written by the same author.

The sex and sexual tension was tedious and boring. And even though Millar was suppose to be mysterious and intense, he came off snobbish, and not much of an 'alpha'. His OCD was endearing in the beginning but became irritating once it was clear we were never going to find out why.
Livvy came across as childish, annoying and weak.
I think the only thing I liked about this… Read more

I love JLA books and series, and I have no problem with her writing style, or the wonderful ending of the Lux series, best bit was Hunter.

But I cant believe the price of the Kindle e-book and the actual book finishes at 67%!!
Thats ridiculous, and insulting. I'm tempted to request a refund, but becuase I like the author, I won't.
But authors cant do this, its cheating. And before everyone gets all its the publishing company blah, blah. Thats worse, because then these authors are not standing up for their devoted and loyal reader's, if they started on Amazon and then make it big, they should NEVER forget where they came from.
I was excited when I saw it was 456… Read more
