4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Read, 17 Aug 2002
I love the style of writting that is Megan Lindholm. The Windsingers is about a Gypsy called Ki and a brave warrior named Vandien that are bond together in each others furture, after a life is saved (Can't tell you who because i don't want to give this superb plot away). I highly recomend that people who enjoy a good read with a great and enchanting plot to buy this book as it is a great read you will not want to put down untill you know how it all turns out.

This illustrated guide to the free peolpe of Middle-Earth and all other creatures in Tolkien's books (The Silmarillion, The Hobbit and The LOTR) has to be the ultimate guide there is to Middle-Earth. David Day has given a beauifully written reference to all the ages and characters of tolkiens great imagiation. The book also includs maps, chronology of the ages and some superb colour illustrations. On nearly every page there is some kind of illustration that makes this book all the more enjoyable.
I would recomend this book to people who enjoyed reading the books or to someone who has seen the film and would like to know more about the enchanted world that is Middle-Earth.
