A lot smaller than I expected - don't know why. Think the picture makes you think it is bigger but is tiny (although how big can 8 inches be??).
Nonetheless, it is cute and is going to be a stocking filler for my 3 year old at Christmas. He loves Kipper the Dog.
In fact, I then went on to order Tiger and Arnold!
I would like there to be bigger versions, but until there is these will be very popular!

4.0 out of 5 stars Peppa Pig Used Boxset, 31 Oct 2011
I was looking for a set of Peppa Pig books that was no longer available from my book club (10 books for 10 GBP I think).

The description for this set of books was very vague, so I could not tell if this was what I was looking for, but as they were such a cheap price (2 or 3 GBP I believe) and I was getting free delivery through Amazon Prime I just ordered them.

The books were not what I was looking for but they have proved very popular with my 2 and 1/2 year old son. It consists of 4 board books - numbers, colours, shapes, words. I cannot praise the Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler books enough, and I think this is one of the best. My dad bough this for my son during his first year and it has become a firm favourite. The writing / rhyming is excellent, funny and educational about different animals, and the pictures are just wonderful.
My son is now two and often requests monkey puzzle for his night-time book. He knows what animal is coming next and shouts "no, no, no, that's an......." every time we turn a page. I know we will be reading this story for years to come, and I won't get sick of it - even if I have to read it every night - and hopefully it will help my son start to read.
Love it!!
