This started as a typical romance but it unexpectedly became a mystery story. She really liked him but for much of the book, he pushed her away and didn't seem to want her.
I just didn't enjoy reading about her throwing herself at him and being knocked back - I thought it was humiliating and demeaning and that doesn't make for a sexy, comfortable read.
Meanwhile he's got lots of secrets that seem to force him to change his mind about her every few days. The first time was a shock but it happened so frequently it lost its shock value and became more of an eye roll moment.
It ends on a cliffhanger but I'm not interested in reading any more about this fickle couple I'm afraid.
My Favourite Mistake (New Adult Contemporary Roman&hellip by Chelsea M. Cameron

Frankly I thought she was so vile, mean and nasty through the first 60% of this story I had no desire to see her with anyone until she grew up, let alone the considerate, sexy and witty Hunter. I get that she had issues but she couldn't manage to be civil to him; she hit him (because apparently, it's fine to hit someone as long as you're a girl and you're hitting a guy just never the other way around) flirted with him then pushed him away… Read more
Fly London Women's Mes Black Boot P210315060 8 UK Fly London
This is my third pair of Fly London boots. I wear them daily September through til March until they fall apart. They're comfortable for walking in and go with everything. They're not brilliant in the rain, but you can't have everything. My feet are waterproof even when my boots leak.
Previously I've paid in excess of 100 for these boots so I was amazed to see them for sale 50 cheaper than usual and feared they may be counterfeit; they're not. To complete my joy they arrived next day. Chuffed to bits, thanks.
