The Red Wrath: A Journey Between Two Destinies by Hatef Mokhtar
5.0 out of 5 stars A great read..., 4 Feb 2013
The fleeting magic of childhood, restrictions that are placed in Afghan society to create a barrier between a boy and a girl, how both genders are prohibited to meet each other before they attain puberty - these are just some of the vivid colours that make The Red Wrath by Hatef Mokhtar an absorbing read. The Blackhouse: Book One of the Lewis Trilogy by Peter May
I found the book to be well articulated particularly on lives of people in Lewis and also on the great yearly sail for the Guga hunt. It is an absolute page turner and keeps you hooked. Would have deserved a five star except for the climax. No spoilers here. All in all a great read.

Neither is she fully important to the story. She works as an accomplice. Then there is the Wennerstrom character, which completely failed me on all counts. The characters on the Hedeby Island, as well as other characters which are important to keep the suspense in… Read more
