Like others, I will state that I too have been a massive PSB fan - since Please - and they're my favourite band by far. IMO, Neil is a beautiful modern day poet and Chris is an understated genius, and together they are incredible and I look forward to everything they do and I buy it. They experiment and, though not all of it works, I respect their craft - and their longevity.
But then we get to this release - and try as I may, I simply can't hear what people are raving about!
I've just seen the live show they did in Toronto (the 4th gig of theirs that I've seen here) - to promote this LP, of course - and it pains me to say that it was a half-baked performance in some ways… Read more
