5.0 out of 5 stars 90% perspiration, 16 Sep 2009
This book is so great that I started telling other people about it before I had even finished reading it. Not just another 'how to' book about how to write and plan a book, this one tells you the stuff you need to know but probably would rather ignore. Things like how to check it actually has a market and how big that market it. This book tells it how it is, making it abundantly clear that it does not matter a jot how wonderful your book is if you don't get out there and make marketing it your priority. The 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration rule applies. The Wealthy Author is jam-packed with advice and tools and ideas to ensure you book is a wow and that your perspiration pays off big… Read more

These Foolish Things [DVD] DVD ~ Anjelica Huston
I bought this because I am such an Andrew Lincoln fan after indulging in the complete series of This Life and Teachers. This film was slow and pedestrian and I was so unhooked that I never even stayed to the end. Though the acting was good and it was a good cast, Lincoln is not in it quite enough to grab me and I just could not get used to his moustache.
Didgeridoos and Didgeridon'ts: A Brit's Guide to M&hellip by Vicky Gray

5.0 out of 5 stars Didgeri DO buy this, 24 Jul 2009
Vicky Gray leaves no grey areas in this solid, practical and personal how-to book on how to emigrate to Australia. With her wicked sense of humour, a real knack for noticing things and her accessible writing style, this is the only book I'd buy if I had the good fortune to be under 45 and could move there myself. What I particularly love is the fact that it is packed with all the info you need but rather than become a dry old tome, its inclusion of Gray's own anecodotes the facts come to life and the book is as much fun as a good novel.
