I just needed a simple alarm clock: Easy to set, hands visible in the dark. That's all I asked for. This alarm clock seemed to provide that and I liked the look of it.

It has a soft ticking, which some people won't like, but it doesn't bother me. The alarm ring is very loud and can be a bit of a shock in the morning, but worse than that is no alarm at all.

After less than two month, this alarm clock has stopped working. Well, ok, not quite: it's still a clock. As it was an alarm clock I needed, it is now a piece of plastic junk that I need to get rid off.

Steer clear.

You read time and time again that if you want to save money and not end up throwing food away, you should plan your meals. I tried, but never lasted long. The downside for readers in the UK may be that as a US cookbook it sometimes contains ingredients that we don't get here or that are called something else, but if you're a keen cook you'll find ways… Read more

Most people seem to like it, so I'm probably just too dense to see the art.

I got it, because I recognised the names of some of the actors and knew that they are good, and indeed the acting was good in this film. I can't think of anything else to say that's positive.

Among the grown-ups, it is hard to find a single likeable character - apart from the teacher and his girl, of course. No wonder all the children are weird, too. The film ended without actually answering any questions. Instead, it left more lose ends.

For me, the movie was a waste of two hours of valuable time.
