PURE Chronos CD Series II, DAB/FM/CD Stereo Clock &hellip by Pure
I received my PURE Chronos radio yesterday and so far, I'm very happy with it, having owned PURE radios in the past.

It's a nice size for situating in the corner of a kitchen worktop or book shelf ( not too big, not too small ) and looks stylish and modern. A few more colour options would have been nice but if you're not bothered about that, it's a nice looking radio to have.

Setting up the radio stations is simple and straightforward ( very similar to previous PURE radios ) and the unit is easy to operate.

The Three Musketeers [DVD] (1973) DVD ~ Oliver Reed
After watching the BBC's recent version of The Musketeers, I decided to give this one a go and came away with mixed feelings. Generally, it appears I've been spoilt by the most recent version because whilst this a fun family movie, it's flaws are more obvious in hindsight.

Love Bite [DVD] DVD ~ Ed Speleers
This is one of the worst films I've seen in the last few years, a horror film that's not scary if you're over the age of 10 and a comedy that's not funny unless you like endless sex jokes that teenagers might find funny.

The two leads are attractive and likeable enough but they don't set the screen alight and the supporting cast are entirely forgettable, with the possible exception of Luke Pasqualino, who manages to create a character who's a bit unlikeable for most of the film but for whom you still manage to feel a bit sorry for towards the end. He's since moved on to better things.

The story is OK but predictable.

I wouldn't buy this film unless you… Read more
