5.0 out of 5 stars Tastefully Done, 3 Jan 2012
Sympathetically constructed and thoughtfully crafted with the little touches that echo what is to be the future. Faure's "In Paradisium" as Morse enters Oxford, which was of course playing in his final moments in The Remorseful Day. The famous car in it's "brand spanking new" form on the forecourt. The usual Morse in Morse's world when he is deep in thought. Memories of the girl he lost - was this Susan Fallon from Dead on time I wonder? The Colin Dexter Cameo and a host of other gems, together with a solid cast and complex plot line that keeps you guessing. I would hope to see more ......

I ordered this to wear to take my husband out for a birthday dinner, and when it arrived (and very quickly too) I was very pleased. It hangs beautifully and moves with you when you walk. The style is flattering and the material doesn't "cling" to every contour! For the price it is a very good buy and I will wear it on many occasions I am sure as it is a classic style, gorgeous colour and a joy to wear.

I remember this book from when I was a child and I loved it then as I do now. It is a charming story that brings a smile to my face every time I read it or watch the excellent television adaptation (which I still have on video recorded years ago) I just wish they'd re-release it on DVD as my copy is getting very worn now
