I was a complete newbee before buying RS, after a couple of months I feel a lot more comfortable with a guitar and can play a few songs (or at least nearly).
What you want to know is. Does RS teach me how to play a guitar or is it just a game. The answer is of course both-ish
Rocksmith first and foremost is a game, it does not teach music theory, or even how to hold a guitar its purely a case of trying to hit the correct notes as they fly towards you.
However.. The more you play the more familiar you become with the guitar, perhaps only on a subconcious level. I reckon your hands will over time adjust to a good playing… Read more
