I experienced a sudden loss of hearing and bought this hearing aid to tide me over until my NHS ones were ready. As it happened I was notified that my NHS ones were ready on the same day that this one arrived so I wasn't able to give it a fair trial, but perhaps not surprisingly in comparison, the NHS ones were much better for me. This is not to say that there was anything wrong with these but the NHS ones were tailored to my exact requirements and so naturally were better.
A cracking story but rather too many words. Occasionally a character is introduced and described in great detail over several pages but then disappears and is never heard from again. Nevertheless a very good read and hard to put down. The lead character is strangely likeable but you wouldn't want to be his friend.
