Enter the Matrix (PS2) by Namco Bandai
Enter the Matrix (PS2) by Namco Bandai
Enter the Matrix promised a lot, and it delivered some percentage of that. However, due to production dead lines in connection with the release date of the movie, the developpers were forced to haste the process. The product is clearly unfinished, the textures and environments are bland, the A.I. miserable, the objectives unclear, and the levels consist of unecessarily long winding paths. Despite all these cons, the extra footage, the superb motion captured action, the variation in environment and task, and the hours of replay value hidden in the hacking system all compensate for the losses. Enter the Matrix could have been better, but if you enjoyed Max Payne, you'll definitely enjoy this.

This is an action packed adrenalin trip that focuses mainly on blowing zombies into oblivion. The graphics are good, the animations are great, and the game really lives up to the gun survivor theme. Although it's pretty short (1-3 hours), it has a strong motivation factor that makes you want to play more. Replay value is sufficient and high resolution FMV sequences heighten the action. Don't miss out on this great installment in the Residnent Evil series.

Silent Hill 3 tops all survial horror games. It has great graphics, great sound, and a bagful of shocks. There's loads of replay value including up to fourteen extra costumes, three secret weapons, five seperate endings, an extra action and puzzle mode, and bonus options. If you enjoy survival horror then you have to add Silent Hill 3 to your collection.
