Like all good franchises in the gaming world, there has to be a runt of the litter.. And sorry 2K this is it..

From the off the if it felt rushed (More so with the day 1 update) rendering was allover the place and the enemy AI was easier to read than the gossip column in a magazine. The charactors were for the most part worryingly killable all thanks to the 'Squad Orders' wheel, which actually aided the enemy in it's quest to kill you! How many other people can safely say that the simple move order turned into a suicide run that got one of your best agents killed, and were you trying to move behind cover before he shot off like Bolt?. From the moment the story starts and the introduction to each of charactors, Faust, Lundquist , Helen of Troy, you get the impression that this is not going to be your normal read. You find yourself thrust into a tornado of weirdness from the rather bewildering way Faust hitchhikes to the almost Clint Eastwood introduction to Lundquist.. Tom Holt unleashes a web of amusement.. And the way he describes how Faust escapes Hell Inc, is hilarious.

Probably my favourite read that'll I'll be handing down to my children and more than likely reading to them at bedtime..

Having read all the reviews and waited rather impatiently for the PS3 demo to be released I found myself wondering is this going to work like the original? And by the gods has it worked? Yes it has...

The game is staggering, I can't fault it and really wish I could find a better explaination to why... The actual tactical game is mind-blowing, forget to manage or mismanage your base and you know about it real quick; especially if someone leaves the council, same goes… Read more
