5.0 out of 5 stars what a fantastic read!, 26 May 2012
There's no two ways about it, 'Nellie' is a must-read. There is such a delicate humanity throughout the novel which never fails to move you and it's not long before you are there alongside Nellie and willing her to succeed. Andrea Bowman's writing was really fluid and engaging, an admirable effort for her début novel. Can't wait to read her next offering!

This book is packed full of heart rending moments and brimming with pathos. I know the front cover is a girly one, and i don't think that does it… Read more
