This is the best book yet on Rosalind Brodsky (aka artist Suzanne Treister)'s obsessive and bizarre researches into some truly arcane practices and beliefs that link the work of the Elizabethan magus John Dee to the 20th-century satanist Aleister Crowley, and the creative minds at MGM, the CIA, MI5 & MI6, with some bizarre experiments in mind control practiced by the US army. Which only goes to show where all that bogus research can take you in this post-holocaust, post cold-war era, with an emphasis on mystic tendencies and witchcraft (Walpurgisnacht meets Karnevale) opened up by the internet.
