A really enjoyable read. I was amazed at how the author sustained in me a sense of excitement throughout the book as one fundamental discovery led to the next. As a non-scientist I found the concepts were well explained and I could follow them, if not always in the finer detail. It also left me wanting to read more about the characters involved, not only Einstein and Bohr but the many others whose contributions are detailed in the book.

A note on the Kindle edition: I found the formatting perfectly fine, including the diagrams.

This is an excellent case for the Kindle 3, well-designed and made. The cover feels firm and also well-padded, and it holds the kindle very securely in its slot by means of a small velcro tab at the top. The case can be closed by a tab at the front which attaches to the back via a press stud. I like the open-book format which enables the kindle to be held like a book with the front of the case open; but the front can also be folded back if desired.
