5.0 out of 5 stars Old idea made modern, 15 July 2013
I must admit, before watching this I had very low expectations because of the large amount of negitive reviews & that I have seen many poor horrors recently. Much to my delight this film was was a moden twist of such old school horrors 'Tales of The Crypt' and 'Creepshow'. I'm surprised something like this hasnt come out sooner. Granted this hasnt got the biggest budget in the world but some times you don't need one. Each of the stories has a bit of everything ghosts, crazy stabby people, a weird woman creature, Witches plus much more well worth a watch. I very much enjoyed this film and I would recommend it to any horror fan. I will look forward to V/H/S 2 that comes out later in the year.

There is not much I can say about this movie, because not much happens. Poor acting and script, the idea of the movie was great but they didnt seem to be able to pull it off, even when it was a simple idea. More time on casting and writing was clearly needed here. I didnt pay to much for it so I'm not heart broken but I certainly will not watch again nor recommend. Its not even a so bad its good movie. Location and Costumes was the only things that they got right. One star only I'm afraid.

This has to be the loosest 'based on a true story' EVER! The story is suppost to be based on Fritz Haarmann, a murderer of a possible 27 boys and young men in Germany. He was found guilty of 24 murders and was executed. NONE of this happens in this quite frankly rubbish film. A bloke(Cyrus)played by Brian Krause kills his wife, her lover, his baby and goes abit nuts. He also runs a diner (on his own!) and serves the local people 'Roadkill' burgers that are really his victims.

A local man (Lance Henriksen) tells this story to independant news presenter Maria (daft bint that really cannot act) and her camera man. I won't tell you the rest because you can probably guess the… Read more
