James Blake ~ James Blake
James Blake ~ James Blake
5.0 out of 5 stars Best of the year., 1 Dec 2011
My album of 2011. Many old favourites have come up with the goods (Wilco, Kate Bush, Tom Waits, Polly Jean Harvey) and some new pretenders (Antlers, Wild Beasts), but this is the most challenging yet enthralling disc produced in this calendar year. Hats off to the young brat.

Another cheerless title, and opening track, I Don't Want Love is as catchy as they've done, Hounds also a possible single, Corsicana and the prior mentioned misery titles also excellent. Varied stuff, and a couple of tracks disappointing - French Exit too similar to Temper Trap, other tracks… Read more
