The Life Coaching Handbook: Everything you need to&hellip by Curly Martin

I purchased this book to learn about life coaching and was pleasantly surprised to find that, not only did I learn about life coaching but also how to start a life coaching practice. Obviously, reading one book won't make you a qualified life coach, but it is an ideal introduction to the field and a great launch pad from which to either read more on the subject or actually take a life coach training course.

Ms Martin's encouraging style of writing kept me reading and made me hunger to learn more. As a result I also purchased her two other books. All of her books (like Curly in person) are encouraging and motivating.

Happy reading.

Some of the helpful tips included are six of the best. She covers journalism, writing short stories for women's mags, blogging, keeping a website up to date. She provides helpful websites and books for further reading.

Also covered are other types of freelance writing, such as copywriting… Read more
The Writer's Book of Wisdom: 101 Rules for Masteri&hellip by Steven Goldsberry

This book is ideal for dipping into or reading straight through. It gives suggestions for unblocking and motivating writers. It also contains excellent advice about the craft of writing (i.e. improving your grammar etc and tips for tightening your writing.)
This is not a book of platitudes but a writing coach who prods, pokes and pushes you along. The essays are short and packed with useful, practical information supported by anecdotes about famous writers. Each page is colourfully decorated. This is quite a clever device. Instead of being a distraction, it helps the reader focus on the text.
It is extremely helpful for beginners but also contains plenty of ideas and information… Read more
