Will this book let you pass the ISEB Business Analysis Foundations Exam? YES.
You can use only this book to pass the foundation exam.
Have a look on the BCS website at the syllabus for the subject, if you have any experience or exposure in the following it'll help even more:
- Business Analysis (ie PESTLE and Porter)
- Project Management (ie Prince2 and PMP)
- Modelling Techniques (ie UML, entity and class)
- Software Development Approaches (ie Waterfall and Scrum)
- Financial & Business Documentation (ie NPV, ROI & Prince2)
There are a couple of frameworks in this book I have not come across before.
This book is highly detailed and very practical with advice and guidance on how ISO 27001 (or any Information Security Management System for that matter) should be implemented, and uses ISO 17799 as the "best practice" guidance and assistance. Like any book talking about such a diverse and indepth subject it can be heavy going sometimes, especially if what you're reading about isn't really applicable to your own organisation, but take the bits you need from it and it's great.
This is a set book for the Open University M876 course and I have used my copy ever since!

Good book, informative and as the previous reviewer states it's very difficult to put down! It raised some very interesting points and theories.
However, I did get the impression that the author got a little bored (or rushed) about two thirds of the way through. Which is slightly ironic saying the book is about the next billion years or so.
