Rousseau's Dog: A Tale of Two Philosophers by David Edmonds

David Edmonds and John Eidinowís book about these two 18th century philosophers is not about philosophy or the two menís philosophical clash. It is the very human and very public quarrel of two diametrically opposed characters, David Hume, the practical and Rousseau, a man torn by his emotions. The title Rousseauís Dog is not to be taken at face value Ė people hoping to read a nice story about a dog will be disappointed, though I canít imagine that anyone with a notion who either man was, would expect this. This is a bit tricky to work out - it also seems to tick over to register 'a step' if you just happen to shake it by accident, adding step when you haven't done any! Might be good for people who don't feel like walking, they can just sit in the chair and shake the meter, then claim they've walked miles...

These C-525BK ink cartridges from Premier Ink work just as well and last as long as the expensive canon ones. I would also never again buy a printer which doesn't take individual colour cartidges - so much cheaper to run as one doens't always use the same amount of each colour.

They arrived quickly.
