Many books have been written about the troubles in Northern Ireland but this one is, in my view, the very best of them. The characters are carefully drawn and one is soon totally caught up in the plot as it twists and turns. The author's eye for detail is impressive, and his style is to aim at an intelligent reader, with no compromise, but no expectation of in depth knowledge of the conundrum that is Northern Ireland. Thus, it is a great read for anyone who want to kick back, relax, and be taken on a super literary journey. I hope that there will soon be another book from this author.

Crusade is excellent; I am eager to read the next book in the series. Anderson combines carfully crafted characters, with whom one completely identifies, and ripping war scenes. Fantastic. Buy it. Buy the series of three. It is a book to see dawn with; it is so difficult to put down.

This book might be wonderful but beware that when you buy it from Amazon they deliver a German version to you. If you are fluent in German then this book might be for you. Invasion.
