5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, 15 Sep 2013
A joy to read. I find it very difficult to find well written pony stories for my nearly 6 year old daughter. Most are sickly sweet and lack real plot but The 3 books in this series were a wonderful change. We loved the books and when we finished the final chapter of book 3, my daughter had her first experience of sadness at the end of a good book. She was genuinely sad that we'd never hear more from Katie and Trifle and I admit, I was too! I'd highly recommend these to any young girls who love horses!

Both my kids love hunting for moshlings and their eggs and my 6 yr old would play for hrs if we let him. I'd definitely recommend it to friends and would say it is worth the money. One criticism though - some of the games… Read more

My daughter has never enjoyed baby and toddler stories and struggles to concentrate. I noticed she was starting to join her elder brother for his 'grown up' stories and wondered if perhaps it wasn't a problem with her but with the books we were offering. I decided to try these stories as the next step up and have found them an absolute success. We got the book for her fourth birthday and it is without doubt her favourite. She will happily listen to 2 or 3 stories in a row and we will definitely be buying another series. My 6 year old son who has a rather mature taste in books enjoys the stories too - it's not a total surprise that he can identify with a naughty little sister! Charmingly old… Read more
