In My Own Words:
The Amazon Community mourns the loss of Reg Garrard, on March 18. He joins Stephen Haines who died on March 24, 2009 at 1245 am. A beloved and admitted curmudgeon, he brought light and life to me and my friends. I shall miss his words of truth and irony.

The Amazon reviewing community mourns the passing of Bob Zeidler, an amazing human being who contributed so much to the classical music live… Read more

Silent Voices (Vera Stanhope) by Ann Cleeves
4.0 out of 5 stars Pet, 24 July 2014
I first met Vera Stanhope in the television series, 'Vera', played by Brenda Blethyn. I liked this series annoy because of the bedraggled Vera, who is large and obese, and knows it, and doesn't give a darn. She has her trusted colleagues who follow her ,and who know she is the best detective they will ever work with, even if she is annoying at times.

In this novel, Vera has been told by her new physician she must exercise or some unwanted, awful thing will befall her. She knows it is the right thing to do and joins an exercise club. She swims, and on this day decides to have a steam bath. Instead she finds a dead woman in the steam bath, and her new case begins. The woman, a… Read more

Say What? Do What? by Audrey Muller
What do you think you do the best? Do you write, or draw, or sing or dance? Has anyone ever told you that you do this thing the best they have seen?

The author, Audrey Muller, has written a fun book about the things some of us do the best. The cows moo and poo, the ducks quack and snack, mom likes to bake, dad lines to fish and sister lines to go to the mall. Have you noticed what those around you like to do? Parents/teachers will have such fun reading this book to their children. It is written in rhyme, one of my favorite forms of reading. Children will have a good time describing what they like to do, and what they have noticed others like to do. Each child and parent or… Read more
Le Creuset 1.1 Litre Stoneware Small Utensil Jar, &hellip by Le Creuset
4.0 out of 5 stars Bright, 24 July 2014
This utensil crock us just the most beautiful color, bright yellow. It shines in my kitchen and makes it feel all sunflowery.
I use this utensil crock to keep my smaller kitchen tools in one convenient spot.

This crock has a 2.75-qt capacity, it has a durable enamel exterior, and has stoneware construction. It measures approximately 7" x 7" x 7-5/16". I can put so many of my utensils in this deck. It fact it is so large, I need to find more utensils to fill it.

Le Creuset has a reputation to uphold, and it certainly has with this utensil crock.
