5.0 out of 5 stars what a book!, 17 April 2006
This is one of those books that you can read forever. Onwards and upwards follows three friends growing up. It goes from school to adulthood and it follows what they do. It's such a great read with plenty of laugh out loud moments!

I've actually nicked quotes from out of this book and used them in real life such as 'Eat in the downstairs restaurant' which I had never head before till this book!

It's a reminder of just how fun friends are and if your an adult then just how much fun your younger days were! It's in my top 5 books, make it be in yours!

4.0 out of 5 stars funny!, 17 April 2006
This book is very amusing. I've read a book by the same author called 'onwards and upwards' so I was expecting a lot of humor!

The story is as follows, Hat and Jimmy Mack are going to get married, untill 6 weeks before the wedding and Jimmy Mack calls it off. Whats a woman to do? Well a woman is to carry on with the wedding plans as usual and hope that he turns up on the day!

Very funny story although slightly predictable at times. An ideal summer holiday read.

Friends is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, American sit-com there is! To own every single episode well, it's just amazing trust me!

There is not one episode that doesn't make me laugh, and you can follow the show from beginning to end with the dvd boxset. As someone has said before friends is repeated all the time BUT you don't get to watch the one you want, or pause and rewind to your favourite bits and repeat them over again. Just think of the investment it is as well, if you have small children or plan on doing so, you can invite them into the world of 'friends'! :D

Friends is great and we all know so, it's worth it!
