5.0 out of 5 stars So addictive!, 21 July 2010
I bought this series for my Boyfriend for Christmas, I never expected to like it at all. I'm one of the girliest of girls you could ever meet, so the fact that this series looked very based around "war" put me off initially. However it's so light hearted, with a childish sense of humour and loveable characters it didn't take me long to become besotted with the series. I got so into the series that we ended up watching the entire 3 books in a very short space of time, I really miss it now! So now we're both eagerly awaiting Avatar: the legend of Korra- which won't be released for a few years yet. It's meant to have different characters too though, so I'm going to miss Zuko and Sokka! :(

This series is a must for any avid Avatar fan- young or old. It gives you a great insight into the characters perspective and even their thoughts too (which you never got in the anime) The text is easy enough for a younger child to read yet the content is enjoyable enough to entertain the older reader. The 3D booklet is a lovely touch too, I've never been a fan of the old red/blue glasses kinda 3D. But the images really jump off the page, it's amazing!
