As a big fan of the old Baldur's Gate series, as well as KOTOR, Mass Effect, Oblivion and games of that ilk, I was immediately drawn to this game, and for me, it didn't disappoint.

The game itself is wonderful - it sweeps you up in its world with an interesting story, great characters (and some great actors behind those characters - including Claudia Black, Robin Sachs and Kate Mulgrew) and lots of interesting choices to make that determine the outcome and path of the story.

Contrary to what some have said in previous reviews, you can group characters and lock on to targets - though admittedly, the controls are fiddly at first and take some getting used to - but once… Read more

I was a latecomer to the Merlin series, but when I finally discovered it on DVD I quickly became very impressed with the music as much as with the show itself. In my own personal view this CD doesn't disappoint (though I know it won't be to everyone's liking) - from the stirring main theme, to the haunting and eerie beauty of the Witch's Aria, through to the darker and heavier tones of the tournament music and a few more lighthearted ones, there honestly isn't a track I disliked.

My only (very minor) gripe would be that it doesn't appear have music from throughout the whole first series (I believe it's just the first three episodes).

This is the second novel in the Delos series and continues the adventures of ZoŽ Arete that began in the first novel The Politics of Illusion.

This novel not only explores and deepens the universe we were introduced to in the first book, it presents us with an epic story of political intrigue and adventure on the apparently (at first glance, anyway) peaceful world of Eirene when a state visit takes an unexpectedly dark and serious twist that threatens to plunge the galaxy to the brink of war.

Highly recommended - if you liked the first book, you'll love this one!
