First impressions. Straight from the install screen you can tell this game is going to be a masterpiece. Maybe it's was the music or the fact that it had a countdown in MB, of which there are 8486, at 9MB a second, that's a long wait...but well worth it.

Then suddenly you're thrust into the action...not saying how though, no spoilers...but it's far superior to getting off a boat or plane. Here you get your first taste of the new gunplay, which was overwhelmingly great after playing GTAIV recently. It all started for me in the early 90s with the MSX computer (when games were stored on cassettes) and Chuckie Egg, a super precise platformer that is very reminiscent of Craftworld (the game that would become LittleBigPlanet). 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfection., 10 Sep 2010
Having not had the internet for a while I thought I'd check what the fans had to say about Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It should be a 100% 5 star job, but it seems that some have been playing an entirely different game.

In the last game I praised it for it's game mechanic, the seemless change from cover to attack to climbing and back again made the game. The animations between those states were truly world class. Now in this game they are on another planet! Most notable in climbing, where Nathan Drake would have to jump last time, now he just effortlessly moves to the next hand hold, in an all together more natural movement. The mechanic is so well honed you can now attack while… Read more
