Purchased these pads back in May 2012 as a spare set for the Deore mechanical front brake on my Airnimal Joey Sport. Finally fitted them in December 2012 when the Shimano original pads wore out.
They have now been in use for 4 weeks (200 miles) of town and city riding - mostly flat roads and gentle hills, but with frequent stopping for lights and junctions.
The good points:

Purchased this with the GoPro tripod mount to put a GoPro camera on my cycle handlebars.
I would have purchased the dedicated GoPro handlebar mount, but reviews suggest you can't rely on it not to break and drop your camera on the tarmac.
For the price, this mounts is feels solid and reliable. I have hit some pretty big pot holes cycling in London, and never a sign it would give way.
Setting up the GoPro vertically above this mount results in quite a high 'stack' of mount + adapter + camera. After some experimentation, I found it best to position the mount horizontally (screw facing horzontally forwards) then rotate the GoPro 90 degrees on the tripod mount… Read more

Works as described, but the micro USB slot is not quite engineered right. All micro USB plugs that I have tried (HTC, Nokia and Sony chargers) are a *very* tight fit - to the point where it feels like you could break them during insertion/removal. I purchased two of these adapters and both have the same problem.
No problem with the Mini USB end however - this is a perfect fit in the devises I have used it with (Samsung and GoPro cameras).
That said, for the price you can't complain. Just use with care.
