Leaks - but fixable
, 7 Sep 2011
I bought one of these very cheap - fully aware of the leak. (Hence 1 star, following repair I would give it 4 stars)
Water enters the Kayak at the joint of the floor and the side walls, this joint is poorly covered internally with seam tape.
I used 3/4 of a tube supersealxxx seam sealer (about £10) to fix it and now have no problem at all.
Taking aside any leak issue this is a very stable and robust kayak, shame they coudlnt get it right in the factory.
But if you see one super cheap you might want to take the risk and try to repair.
Pays your money takes your choice.

This guide is very well written and very well presented.
The routes are clearly described, shown on OS maps and show ascent, descent, alternate starts etc.
The mix of routes should mean something for everyone from 10k to multi day hundreds of kilometer routes.
Any mountain biker in or planning to visit Scotland would be pleased to receive this as a gift.
