Wow - just wow.

What a day. I described Day 13 as the best day yet but Day 14 surpasses it. It introduces some absolutely despicable characters and they are all of the human variety. The sad thing about them is that they are wholly what I'd expect if the human race meet with a world wide major catastrophe (but I digress).

As always the book had me on a roller coaster of emotions that make this series so good (I have to stop laughing out loud on public transport or there is a ban coming my way).

5.0 out of 5 stars The best day yet, 9 Dec 2013
Day 12 was a bit strange with a lot of the focus being on the 'new' talking and thinking Undead but Day 13 is back to Mr Howie, Dave and the rest of the gang, including Lanie.

Maddox and his crew are back and there are a couple of new characters who fit in with the group but have their own interesting back story and characteristics.

For me Day 13 is the best day yet - don't want to give any spoilers away but it's a brilliant read from start to finish.

Roll on Day 14 (and 15 and 16......)

The two timelines merge together at Day 11 for one of the most exciting fight scenes out of any book.

Superb humour as always (someone has already mentioned the farting competition) but this Day also introduced the first real coward (not sure if that's the right word as I think he reacts the way most of us would).

Was crying with laughter and some parts and sadness at… Read more
