The Most Happy Fella ~ Claudia Catania
The Most Happy Fella ~ Claudia Catania
4.0 out of 5 stars The complete recording, 20 Feb 2014
This is the complete show plus a number of out takes - and it is in stereo (which the original Broadwayrecording isn't). It is very well performed with some very fine performances. I find it quite moving to hear Emily Loesser singing her father's score - and very well too! The orchestra is excellent. My one reservation is Louis Quilico's Tony. He develops a nice character but I find his vibrato difficult to listen to compared with Robert Weede on the original cast recording. But it is still a very good recording and I would recommend it with that one caveat.
Greatest Film Hits - Nino Rota ~ Nino Rota

I guess the clue is in the price, but this collection is truly awful. A homogenous, bland and synthetic sound. Muzak
A Chorus Line [The New Cast Recording] ~ Michael Berresse
5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning!, 25 Jun 2013
I loved this recording. It truly captures the spirit of the show. The original cast recording (which I have had for years) is very good; this one, I believe, is better.
