Many of us that are old enough remember Nancy Sinatra singing 'These Boots are Made For Walking', 'Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Dead', or her collaborative work with Lee Hazelwood singing 'Jackson' or 'Summer Wine', for example. Come And Get It Judy Carmichael MP3 Download
5.0 out of 5 stars One of Judy's best, 25 Nov 2013
I remember hearing an interview with Judy Carmichael on BBC radio around six years ago when Come And Get It was released. It's taken me all this time to get around to buying the album. This is the first album by Judy to feature her on vocals and Judy doesn't disappoint. For a first time vocalist her singing is fantastic, with touches of Peggy Lee mixed in with maybe a little Diana Krall on the side, but Judy does have her own voice. Not every track has Judy on vocal and when she's not singing she's hitting those keys. Judy is a master of stride piano, a variation of rag-time that I defy anybody who loves this style of music to not be tapping their feet too in accompaniment.
The Telegraph: All New Cryptic Crosswords 1 (The T&hellip by THE TELEGRAPH
I'm slowly working my way through the book having completed the first five or six puzzles so far. I find 'The Times' and the 'i' (The Independent's sister paper) to be a bit more tricky than the Daily Telegraph, therefore this collection is just about right for me.
