I deliberated between this and pricier brushes after deserting my last electric toothbrush, also oral-b, in a hotel.
I went for this in the end with the idea that if wasn't fantastic I hadn't lost much.
With Oral-B branded heads it works very well. Went to the dentist a month after purchasing and I hadn't a trace of plaque. Has a useful two minute timer that sort of 'stutters' once you reach it, reminds you to keep brushing! Much better than the other £30 model I lost and on a par with my husband's £60 brush for cleaning minus all the bells and whistles. I had never seen any of Sylvain Chomet's work before going to see The Illusionist at the waterhouse in Bristol.
I have never felt compelled to review anything online before either, but this is beautiful, deft and lightly done and I would urge anyone who has not seen it to buy it.
Similarly to another reviewer I was wondering before the end of the screening when I would be able to purchase this on dvd, and am pre-ordering two copies.
It seems to have divided criticism a little here, between those that are highly disappointed and others who find sheer delight throughout, of which I am in the latter camp.
