There were many late-60s and early-70s bands that people remember, although Warhorse is one that disappeared from the scene. They should have been huge as they blew away many of the more well-known contemporaries.
Nick Simper is the main man who is known from his days with Deep Purple, but the two that really stand out are drummer Mac Poole, and guitarist Ged Peck. If you like your drums played, as opposed to just thumped, Poole is your man. And if you appreciate guitarists who play the notes (and at top speed where needed), than look no further than Peck.
The pair are a joy to behold and a massive contrast to some of the garbage today.
