13.5 Tog King Size 15% Duck Feather Duvet by rejuvopedic
1.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointing, 28 Jan 2014
The item in question (from The Linen Depot) is not like the picture - it's quite thin and not at all luxurious. Also, the natural smell of the duck feathers/down is extremely strong when first purchased. With three days of airing, the smell dissipated somewhat but is still quite perceptible (to me at least) so people with sensitive noses should head the warning from the seller. There is actually some confusion around the this Amazon lists the same item under one header but in reality quite a few different sellers offer the product and I know for a fact that the item my friend ordered via the same link but from a different seller was a completely different product - no smell, thicker and… Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Just as expected!, 30 Oct 2012
I actually already had one of these before (in Iris- purple) and was pretty pleased with it. So, when I got a new kitten, I knew I wanted another one and the Titanium one was what I chose.

And it looks pretty cool to - like a futuristic igloo or something. All in all, I do quite like the product.

I was a bit miffed about the delivery which was a little longer that I expected (having paid a premium, I was hoping to get the item towards the lower end of the specified time… Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars comfortable or not?, 9 April 2010
I am a big fan of McCall Smith's No 1 Ladies Detective Agency series. I have always felt that the author captured the "voice" of his subjects perfectly, down to the nuance and unique inflections that are completely African. The warmth, humour, sense of values and pride of country that McCall Smith's characters display in such a convincing way are things that bring positive reinforcement to the African image.

I must admit that I was slightly disappointed with "the double comfort safari club". That authentic "African voice" seems to have been somewhat lost here, with the characters slipping in and out of colloquial sounding English. The book also read, to me, that it was slightly… Read more
