Waiting For The End To Come ~ Kataklysm

Definitely an album which is continuing in the progression of albums Kataklysm have been putting out. This would compare in the strength of songs the whole way through to Serenity In Fire and Into The Arms Of Devastation. There is a sense an accessibility that pushes Kataklysm close to mainstream metal without losing their underground death metal identity. Melodic with a crushing heaviness that keeps you hooked throughout.

This album rocks and is in the vein of the last few Ministry releases in being more metal and less electronic or alternative. Al only made this album when he and Mike were messing about in the recording studio, so its great that Ministry have come back from the dead and I am looking forward to seeing them on tour later in the year.
From the humour of the opening track 'Ghouldiggers' there is no let up with the barrage through the likes of the speeding 'Double Tap' the vicious 'freefall' the shout along 'Kleptocracy' and '99 Percenters' to the final crunch of 'Bloodlust'. I am delighted to have a new Ministry release which was never expected and it's one to be enjoyed.
