I will just say that Screwjack bites and rolls its way around your head after the fashion of the best, most gruesomely inventive and amusing perversity. Don't take my word for it, read it. A genuinely original take on the subject matter which, for some reason, noted writers stay away from.

This book kicks and weaves. In places, it has writing as acerbic and cutting as Thompson at his best, whereas other parts are more indulgent. That said, it's still a great and fearsomely funny read. HST's invective hit the spot like nobody else's, and in total the wonderful dose of wild spleen on offer here is hard to knock.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb show, 16 Mar 2009
This is very funny. It comes from one of the writers of Father Ted, and there is a similar vein of humour here, as you'd expect. This is very amusing indeed and has a lot of laugh out loud moments. Some of the lines are wonderful and the situations are very daft.

An excellent show.
