1.0 out of 5 stars Weak stuff, 20 May 2014
I enjoyed the Myron series but even though this is aimed at young adults - let's be honest, fans of the original series are going to pick this up and it's weak stuff.
Star Trek: The Fall: Peaceable Kingdoms by Dayton Ward

I haven't been very impressed with 'The Fall' arc as it has relied on cartoonish characters and straw men badguys but I think this is maybe the worse of the lot - it is highly repetitive and many of the set pieces and situations are simply repeats of situations from previous boosk (Black ops killers, Starfleet ships firing on each other). Moreover, the actual 'reveal' is dull and relies on way too many coincidences to be credible.

Star Trek: The Fall: Revelation and Dust (Star Tre&hellip by David R. George III

I agree with the previous two reviews - there is far too much exposition and too little action (in plot terms, I don't mean mindless action) - the book sets up a number of plot points for future books but fails to deliver in its own right. The main plot point can be summed up in a sentence and is sure to be recapped at the start of the next book, so give this one amiss.
