As a big fan of Annie Hawes' previous books, I really think that this scraped the bottom of the barrel. This reads like something thrown together to satisfy an outstanding contract with the publishers. I managed to plough through about 25% of it before giving it to the charity shop. Annie - you really have let down your fans with this dirge.
If you're going to the Sorrentine Peninsula and like walking off the beaten track in the hills, this is an absolute must. There's some seriously good hill walking here but you really do need this book AND a pair of light walking shoes such as trail boots. More maps would be nice but that's always the case. Recommended.
