5.0 out of 5 stars Hooked from the start!, 12 Mar 2014
This book was recommended to me and I wasn't disappointed at all. The first few chapters are incredibly dark and then the plot opens out into a complex crime thriller with twists and turns on every page. Horsburgh really is the master of his characters and describes their backgrounds and personalities so that you feel like you know them yourself. I love the little suggestions of some characters coming back at a later date and feel that it adds further to the intrigue of the story. I am really looking forward to the next part of the trilogy and can't wait to see how it all unfolds. Usually I'm able to work out "whodunit" but this time I'm completely stumped!

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what we needed!, 4 Feb 2010
We have 2 boys and didn't have anything like this for our eldest and wonder now how we did without it! Bought this for our new baby at christmas for him to grow into and he is now nearly 4 months and tried it out last night and absolutely loves it. It was very simple to put together (no daddies or screwdrivers needed:D ) and lovely quality.
In our opinion, this is the ideal solution to replace a door bouncer if you have an older toddler or have stairgates up everywhere as it still lets baby bounce about but keeps them safe from being bopped by older siblings!

Loved this film! Storyline is perfect to keep adults amused whilst watching with the kids. Cast is superb with De Niro's character the highlight for me. Comedy value is great and the romantic element just right without being too soppy. Watched this with a sceptical hubby who throughly enjoyed it as well!! Highly recommended!
