Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Plus , Padding Roll by Dr. Scholl's
5.0 out of 5 stars For videographers too, 2 Jun 2012
Very useful to tie down and insulate lavalier mics against the skin. Had to shoot a fitness session with the instructor extremely mobile and vocal throughout. Combined with taping down the mic wire with surgical tape, this was perfect in stopping bumps, thumps and whacks when secured under clothing. A virtually clean audio track, ta-daaa.

5.0 out of 5 stars Let me count the ways, 2 Jun 2012
I bought this and its sister the reflective TriGrip and already I've found them so much more handy than my round reflectors. The stand clamps are expensive but absolutely indispensable if you work without a VAL most of the time. And they have added unforeseen benefits - I was shooting video last week and the air-con vent was intermittently rattling/pinging. In the space of a minute I had mostly blocked the noise off from reaching the subject, using the TriGrip as a baffle, wedged against the ceiling. Not exactly what it's for but it worked a treat. And as a light modifier, well, you know, it just works as a shoot-through. Everyone needs at least one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thoroughly useful, 2 Jun 2012
As a jobbing corporate photog, I'm always looking for new (but subtle) ways of changing the lighting format from what works well but can be a little 'identikit', to something with a little more edge. Always difficult because corporate head-shots usually have to conform to an accepted style but this book will definitely give me something to play with. Especially pleased they replicated the same shot across both male/female and 3 skin tones. Very useful, bravo.
