The Tip of My Tongue: (and Some Other Weapons as W&hellip by Trezza Azzopardi
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were brilliantly brought to life and given such believable traits that they have really lingered in the imagination. There is humour and sadness in this story, and a very authentic feel of the 70s.
The only reason why I haven't given it 5 stars is that I felt that the ending seemed rushed and a bit of an anti-climax but that is a minor criticism given just how well Trezza Azzopardi has taken the story of Geraint, son of Erbin, and created a magical and absorbing tale of her own.
20 Pack of Ladies Shoe Storage Boxes with Side Ope&hellip by Zone
4.0 out of 5 stars Basic Shoeboxes, 17 Oct 2013
If you are looking for basic shoeboxes for storage these will be fine. I am a size 4-5 and they take my shoes comfortably. My menfolk however are another matter - shoes over about a size 7-8 will be too big for these boxes.
Vivien's Heavenly Ice Cream Shop by Abby Clements
3.0 out of 5 stars Light, enjoyable read, 18 Aug 2013
This is a very straightforward book. It isn't great literature but if you would like am enjoyable and interesting story which isn't too demanding then this fits the bill. The story is a bit unbelievable but no-one reads a romance for realism, do they? There are ups and downs and happy endings: a good book for a holiday read.
