This is a very accessible movie even to those who aren't that familair with the Bollywood genre. Sure the plot is a bit thin, and the characters are a bit charicatures of themselves, but very convincingly so. I.e. the actors play their roles convincingly, enrolling the audience in the storyline. All of that supported by a much enthralling musical score. A real family movie, we all loved it, my wife shed a tear, my son was dancing with SRK, and we all hope to see more of Anuschka Sharma of course! The availability of Dutch subtitles was a very pleasant surprise.
