I had the reported effect of skipping, after only a few days, but research advised the application of a tiny amount of Arctic Silver Thermal Paste to the metal ball which fits into the clear plastic head. This cured it completely, the stylus is now everything I had hoped - but it had cost extra time and money to resolve this. It would be really good if the manufacturers could apply this compound at production!
This book seems so shallow, the characters we know from previous stories in the series now seem to be weak and changed out of all recognition. It is exhausting and annoying to read about Ellie's life, and we are supposed to accept that she is the only one with any wits, not to mention having God on her side! It feels like this book was rushed off quickly to grab the market, with no respect for quality.
