This is certainly better than any cordless vacuum I have tried. Very easy to use and very effective. The instructions recommend changing the filter each time you use proprietary carpet conditioning and air freshening materials. Apparently these can damage the plastic mouldings if left in the machine for any length of time. The filters cost around seven pounds a time inc. p&p. Though the filter is easy to remove, I find that I need a small brush to remove all the dust and fluff from the filter before replacing it.
